MP3 Version: Creativity in ISD

Listen to Veronica Adams discuss her recent ASTD Webinar about the creative process in Instructional Design.

Most instructional designers try to make their programs “interesting” to hold the learners’ attention. But many may feel constrained by the tried and true curriculum models used by their clients or employers and/or these cultures and feel they must “color between the lines.”

However, some in the workplace learning profession believe that adding an entertainment element:

1) Engages the learners and holds their attention much more
2) Can increase the learning integration and retention
3) And fosters increased innovation, both for the ISD and training team, and for the learners.

ISD Veronica Adams will share some of her ideas and favorite tools for bringing more creativity into training design and delivery.
